Цель урока: Обобщение и систематизация изученного материала по теме «Our pets».
Задачи урока:
1. Практические: формировать и развивать коммуникативные умения обучающихся на основе языковых, лингвострановедческих, социокультурных знаний и навыков, активизировать лексико-грамматический материал, расширить лексический запас.
2. Развивающие: развивать языковые и познавательные способности обучающихся.
3. Воспитательные: формировать уважение и интерес к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка, прививать интерес и любовь к животным.
Оборудование: доска, наглядный материал (картинки с изображением изученных лексических единиц, животных), слайд-презентация.
Ход урока:
1. Сообщение цели урока.
T. Good morning, boys and girls. I'm glad to see you. Today we'll speak about animals in our life, you will recite some poems, ask and answer questions, solve some riddles. You’ll learn some information about animals. I hope the lesson will be interesting for you and you will enjoy it. Let's start working.
2. Речевая зарядка.
T. Many people have pets in their houses. They are our helpers and friends. What pets do people keep? On the blackboard you сan see pictures and names of some animals. Match the pictures with the words (cats, parrots, rabbits, fish, guinea-pigs, hamsters, tortoises, dogs). Make up sentences with these words.
(Ученики работают в парах. Сопоставляют изображения животных с их английскими названиями, затем зачитывают. Составляют предложения с предложенными словами.)
3. Фонетическая зарядка.
T. Which poems and proverbs about animals do you remember? Let’s recite them!

4. Тренировка навыков диалогической речи.
T. Our pets live near us in the house. We love them. Do you agree with me? Let’s speak about our dogs and cats in pairs. One of you is an interviewer and has to find out some information about your friend’s pet. Take sheets of paper, ask questions to your classmate and write down the answers.

What does your pet eat?
What can your pet do?

5. Тренировка навыков устной речи на основе подготовленного группового проекта.
T. We love our pets, we care of them. Now, please, tell us about your favorite animals. I think it’s time to know some new information about pets.
(Учащиеся рассказывают о своих домашних любимцах и представляют презентации.)

PARROTS.

We like our pets. Our pets are parrots. They are our friends. Parrots are merry and funny.

There are many kinds of parrots. We will present some of them to you. They are, for example, large-winged parrots, wavy parrots. The large-winged parrot is considered to be one of dying out.

Parrots are very curious. They like flying about the flat. They can speak. Parrots can be of various colours: from white to brown. They are very nice and bright.

Parrots live in cages. There is a mirror, a hand bell, a plate for water and meal, a small ladder in the cage. If a parrot is alone in the cage, it looks at itself in the mirror and speaks to itself.

Please, guess my riddles. Here they are.

This animal lives at home or in the street. It’s a man’s friend. It can run and swim but can’t fly and climb. It is very friendly and clever. (a dog)

This animal lives in the house. It’s not big. It likes to eat carrots and it is afraid of a fox. This animal runs very fast. (a rabbit)

This animal is red and cunning. It likes hens and cocks, hares and ducks. It lives in the forest. (a fox)

This animal can be black, grey, white and red. It lives in the house. It can catch a grey mouse. It likes meat, fish and milk. It can run, jump and walk. (a cat)
7. Рефлексия.
Прием “Синквейн”.
Т. Now think about the topic of the lesson and write a Japanese poem (синквейн). What do you think about pets? What associations do you have?
Let’s make up cinquains about pets. Do you remember what is it? It is a kind of poem consisting of 5 lines (a general word, two adjectives on the topic, three verbs, the main idea of your “poem” (it must consist of 3–4 words) and a synonym of the general word. Make up as many cinquains as you can. All your cinquains will be different. Read them aloud when you are ready. Work in pairs.
