«My country at a glance»
Цели:
-
социокультурный аспект – знакомство учащихся с достопримечательностями Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга;
-
развитие навыков диалогической речи
-
практиковать учащихся в устной речи
Задачи:
-
активизировать употребление лексики предыдущих уроков.
-
тренировать учащихся в произношении названий достопримечательностей

презентация Power Point по теме “ My country at a Glance”,

индивидуальные карточки;
Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, экран, раздаточный материал.
ПЛАН УРОКА
I. Организационный момент
Good morning, dear friends I am glad to see you. I wish us a good work. Today we are going to repeat some information about Great Britain. Also today we will talk about our country…Sights of Russia…and may be even some new information for you!!!Last lessons we visited Britain…And now let’s visit our country!!

1.Peterhof is perhaps St. Petersburg's most famous and spectacular Imperial estate.
2.The State Hermitage occupies six magnificent buildings situated along the embankment of the River Neva, right in the heart of St Petersburg.
3. The Moscow Kremlin is a historic fortified complex at the very heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River (to the south), Saint Basil's Cathedral and Red Square (to the east) and the Alexander Garden (to the west). It is the best known of kremlins and includes four palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of Russia

d) The best way to discover Russia is to visit Russia. To know Russia is to love Russia. When the foreigners are going to Russia they have to ask a lot of questions to find out information about various things.
Make up a dialogue. Just imagine…one of you is foreigner and other indigenous resident of Russia…you should tell about your country, your city or may be about sights, traditions of Russia.

Read and translate their answers P 26 EX 3
And you should answer the question: “How do you imagine Britain (British people, traditions, sigths)”
