Do you want to have a friend?

Dogs had been domesticated by humans for a long time. They have lived people for at least 14000 years.

Dogs can serve people in different ways. They are often called “man’s best friend”. For example, there are guard dogs, hunting dogs, decorative dogs, guide dogs for blind people

Guard dogs have been trained by people to bark at strange people, and sometimes they even attack people that come near them. Guard dogs are very important to people, but if you ever see a guard dog it is better to leave it alone as it might bark, bite or attack. This is the dogs’ job.

Guard dogs.

There are also dogs that are trained to smell for diseases in the human body, drugs, and bombs. Lots of people want dogs to keep them safe or look after things, so they buy dogs that are trained to be guard dogs.

Doberman.

The dog is clever, very strong and brave. It likes only it’s master. It is indifferent with the other members of the family. It is a very dangerous enemy.

German Shepard.

It is a real friend. It is a work dog. It is very clever and brave. It likes to learn.

Rottweiler.

Rottweiler is a very strong and brave dog. It is a real guard dog. It can find things. But it has difficult character. You mustn’t put it on chain. Germany is it’s motherland

Mastiff

It is a real friend. Mastiff is a very brave dog. The dog is very strong and calm. But it likes to have it’s own deal in life.

Hounds.

There are two types of hounds, sight hounds and scent hounds. The difference between them is if they sight or smell to find what they are hunting for.

Spaniel.

It is very friendly, kind. It likes children very much. It is funny and joyful. It is a truthful friend. It lives a long life.

Basset-hound.

It is an ideal dog for the family with children. It is friendly, joyful, playful. But it needs work. It likes to walk itself.

Dutchshund.

It is a brave dog. It is clever and likes to live in a family. It has a sense of hum our. It is a clean dog. It bucks in a very loud voice.

Borzoi.

It is a very beautiful dog. It is very calm. But it doesn’t like children. It doesn’t like to play. In 18th century it was a hound dog for wolf.

Bullterrier.

It likes children. It is a clever. It is a brave dog. It doesn’t like hot weather. It is very strong.

Decorative dogs.

It likes children very much. It is playful, joyful and funny. It lives long life. It is very beautiful.

Pekingese.

Pekingese is a very brave dog. They call it “a lion dog”. It does not like children. It is very clean.

Poodle.

It is an ideal friend. It can live in a house. It is a cleaver dog. It likes children. It like to run, play with children. It bucks in a loud voice. But you should not make a clown or a toy.

Chihuahua.

This is the smallest dog in the world. The best security of your pocket.

Sharpei.

It is a very clever dog. It likes people and especially children. It is an ideal guard dog. But it is susceptible to illness.

Bulldog.

It is a very strong dog. It is calm. The dog is very clean. It Is kind, thou it is ugly.

Dog.

It is an ideal friend. Dog is very kind. It likes everybody. Dog likes to play and walk, but it’s life not long.

Chau-chau.

It is very beautiful dog. It is very clean. Is doesn’t smell. It has it’s own character.

Gide dogs.

Guide dogs get special training and help blind people.

With a guide dog blind people can go for a walk, to the bank or to the supermarket. It’s safe. They are sometimes called "Seeing Eye" dogs. It can be a Labrador or German shepherd.
