The interesting facts

Initially James Cameron planned to let out film on screens in 1999. However, considering complexity of special effects which was going to create Cameron, the budget of film should make about $400 million. The project has laid down on a shelf where was about 10 years.

Cameron has thought up a plot of film and has written the first version of the script in 1995.

Film consists of 40 % alive shooting and of % realistic computer graphics.

Cameron has developed special technology which allowed to see during shootings on the screen of monitors of computer characters together with alive actors.

In Cameron's original script the foliage of plants was same dark blue as leather Na’Vi, but finally, he decided to use green color for greater realness.

Avatars have five fingers, while Pandora’s inhabitants have only four.
